TOBY WARRENER

SHIATSU PRACTITIONER

As far back as I can remember I have had a fascination with the human body. To this day I am still in awe of how many different functions it supports while we get on with our day-to-day lives. Even when our system struggles, the way our body tries to inform us of its need for support is truly remarkable, we just need to learn how to listen.

I started studying Shiatsu and Traditional Chinese medicine in late 2010 to understand my health from a natural point of view. After graduating from the British school of Shiatsu-do, I started out by working in drug rehabilitation where I used Shiatsu to those struggling with addiction to cope with their withdrawal symptoms while building hope for their future.

In 2015 I took myself off for a bit of travelling and funded myself by working in yoga retreats and at holistic events in Europe before returning to London to create my own mobile sleep clinic. My approach to health and healing uses both eastern and western principles and doesn't disregard either as they both have their merits and work well together. After all you wouldn't go and see massage practitioner or acupuncturist if you had a broken arm, but once you've visited the hospital and had your arm set in plaster, taking a course of Chinese herbs may well bring down the pain and speed up recovery.

I treat a wide range of health conditions and have special interests in sleep disturbances, structural issues and more recently Long Covid recovery. I also offer home visit treatments for those who need them.

I have also always been a big believer in supporting my clients in the interim between their treatments. Which is why I offer a range of natural supplements with the support and experience of how to get the best out of them.
