FERTILITY ACUPUNCTURE & HERBS 

Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine (CHM) are used extensively in the treatment of infertility, both to promote a natural pregnancy and also in conjunction with IVF treatments and other drug therapies in assisted conception. 

Both are considered to have a strong influence on the reproductive and endocrine systems and, therefore, may help address imbalances in the body, which could prohibit conception or cause miscarriage. 

In female patients, acupuncture is thought to regulate hormones that improve ovarian function to produce better-quality eggs. It is also thought to increase the number of follicles and promote the flow of blood to the Uterus to thicken the endometrial lining. Overall, acupuncture strengthens the woman’s immune system and helps her relax, thus reducing the risk of uterine contraction and miscarriage.

In male patients, it is thought to help improve sperm quality and quantity, which increases the chances of creating a healthy and viable embryo. Treatments are specifically designed for the client’s needs. The patient is closely monitored and the treatment is often modified as the person progresses.
